英文和訳 （制限時間 40分）
次の英文を日本語に訳しなさい。 |
|
|
- 教育（学習）テクノロジーとは、デジタル、マルチメディア、およびネットワーク技術を使って、情報をより効率的に展開させ、極めて視覚的、双方向方式で学習活動や指導効果を高めることである。また、従来型の教育にとっては「時間と場所」は主要課題であるが、教育（学習）テクノロジーにとっては（時間や場所は）たいした問題ではない。つまり、学習者たちは学びたい時に、学びたい場所で、さらに良くあることだが、学びたいことを学ぶためにこのテクノロジーを利用するのである。
おそらく、さらに重視すべきは、このテクノロジーはすべての学習者が必ずしも同じ方法で学習するとは限らないということである。実利型の学生にとっては、講義をうけることが最善の学習方法ではないのである。
- 部品同士を極めて正確に結合させ、高熱や高圧に耐えうるものにし、また燃料の経済性を高めるために、できるだけ軽量にしなくてはならないので、航空機のエンジンや自動車のそれの部品は、メーカー側にとっては大きな頭痛の種である。エンジン内部では高温になると金属は劇的に膨張するので、その構造が扱いにくいことがある。
航空機エンジンの場合、空気が常温で進入し、1200℃に上昇し、次に非常な低音に戻るということが、すべて３フィートの空間で起こるのである。従って、膨張率や収縮率の異なる金属をエンジンの中で隣接して取り付けることは、大惨事につながることがある。

- One of the features of the Internet is its anonymity. Anyone can use an
anonymous name on the web. Recently, clever fraudulent use of famous company
domain names is increasing, just by altering one or two letters. Suppose
fujizushi.com is the domain name of a famous sushi chain store. A fraudster
may use a slightly changed version like fujisushi.com. To avoid thus type
of fraud, it is necessary to have (start) a domain name registration system.
- Rising fuel costs and consequent potential customer concern necessitate
evaluation of potential fuel-saving design changes for the 2003 small inboard-engine
craft market. Tests were conducted with specified propellers and determine
the fuel-economy effect. In addition, the noise level of these propellers
was tested.
